CLIFTON GLAMPING | SOURCING & STYLING

CLIFTON GLAMPING | SOURCING & STYLING

Clifton Glamping is located on the historic Clifton Station in Hawke’s Bay. Owners, Tom and Lucia Gordon, have just launched Clifton’s second luxury glamping site and Annabelle’s was lucky enough to be involved in the setup by sourcing and styling the decor and furniture for this gorgeous retreat.

Clifton Glamping feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of modern living. Five minutes from Te Awanga, and just 20 minutes from Havelock North, Hastings and Napier, Clifton’s accommodation has become the perfect place for people seeking a luxurious escape. Clifton Station, which homes Clifton’s glamping sites, is a fully working farm with approximately 5,000 sheep, 500 cattle with acres of coastal flats for cropping and 120 acres in pine trees.

Clifton’s new ‘The Toetoe Retreat’ has been a year in the making, with Tom undertaking a restoration of a 150-year-old farm shed as part of the new glamping site. Along with the restored building (which has been transformed into the retreat’s gorgeous bathroom), 'The Toetoe Retreat' will house guests in a beautiful canvas safari tent which is set on a permanent timber floor. The site is perched above the picturesque Maraetotara river and overlooks a forest of eucalyptus trees.

Annabelle’s sourced the decor and furniture for the new retreat, and styled the spaces - including the luxury bedroom, vintage-styled kitchen and bathroom, and relaxing indoor and outdoor living spaces.
